The best way around it to make thicker bristle maps is to simply hollow out your shape and delete every other line of pixels.Īs you can see here, B_05 doesnt seem to render correctly on the preview menu, but diagonal 1-3 do. It was probably also the case in SAI1 seeing as how it looks like other brushes incorporated the same technique, but i digress- if you are making your own custom bristle for your brushes you are going to run into this problem. So, basically, if your bristle map in SAI2 has more than 63 black pixels in it, SAI2 will only render the first 63 black pixels in the bristle and cut off the rest.
